Born in summer 2014 with a production of the opera “L’amico Fritz” by the composer Pietro Mascagni,   “Gli Amici di Fritz”  Association has so far staged a number of operatic masterpieces from the Italian repertoire:

• “L’Amico Fritz” (“My Friend Fritz”)
• “La Cenerentola” (“Cinderella”)
• “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” (“The Barber of Seville”)
• “L’italiana in Algeri” (“The Italian Girl in Algiers”)
• “La Serva Padrona” (“The Servant turned Mistress”)

The association has had the collaboration of several accompanists. Currently it is Maestro Luigi Canestro who rehearses the Company and conducts its performances. Continue…
